Organisers have officially unveiled the revamped course for the 2026 Belagavi Survival Hill Challenge. Tailored specifically for seasoned ultra-marathoners and trail enthusiasts, the updated route promises an elite test of endurance.
Participants will navigate the rugged topography of Hangaraga, featuring steep alpine ascents, technical descents, forest canopies, and loose boulder fields. This year’s updated logistics ensure seamless navigation while significantly increasing the overall technical difficulty of the race.
KEY EVENT DETAILS
A demanding backcountry circuit winding through the Sahyadri mountain range. Expect technical single-tracks, loose gravel, and a decisive, steep final incline.
Due to substantial vertical gain—particularly on the 26K and 52K loops—prior trail-running experience is highly recommended.
The event features comprehensive route signage, trailing sweepers, and mandatory time-bound checkpoints to ensure safety.
All official finishers receive a commemorative medal. Podium trophies will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in all categories.
Once the form is filled and paid for registration, under no circumstances the refund of money is allowed.

Checkpoint 1 (5K) and Checkpoint 2 (13K, turnaround for the 26K) have medical volunteers and water stations.
